Customer Experience Associate - Portland, OR

We’re always interested in talking to coffee fanatics, current baristas, ex-baristas, and wanna-be baristas about a shift in careers. If you can see yourself spending most of your day talking with customers about our product line up and digging into their needs to find the best home setup, then this job is for you.

We are seeking a CX Associate who is available to work an evening shift, supporting our customers during the hours of 1:00pm and 8:30pm PST on weekdays.

 Details:

  • FTE: Full Time
  • Location: Portland, OR
  • Pay Range starts at $18 per hour
  • FLSA Status: Non Exempt
  • Benefits: Eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, 401k matching, paid holidays, employee discount, and paid time off
  • Reports to CX Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote an excellent experience for customers and fellow employees
  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and chats in a very timely manner
  • Identify consumer personas and track sales lifecycle in CRM
  • Have a clear knowledge of product specifications and functionality
  • If local, greet customers in the showroom and give demonstrations
  • Keep showroom, kitchen, and personal spaces clean

Requirements:

  • Must be a fast learner, technologically savvy, with knowledge of the specialty coffee industry
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to be on the phone most of the workday
  • Reliably positive and approachable, able to work well with a team
  • Available to work weekends and Thanksgiving through Christmas
  • Self-starter/motivator, strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
